
Rachel Bolan and Snake Sabo are the original founding members of legendary hard rock band Skid Row. Formed in 1986 in Toms River, New Jersey, Rachel (bass) and Snake (guitar) helped shape the band’s signature sound and songwriting.
Skid Row broke onto the international scene with their 1989 self-titled debut, featuring iconic hits “18 and Life” and “I Remember You.” Their 1991 follow-up, Slave to the Grind, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, making Skid Row the first heavy metal/hard rock band to achieve the feat.
Skid Row continues to perform and record music, with Rachel Bolan and Snake Sabo representing the band’s original foundation and legacy. Their story spans decades of rock history, from the New Jersey club scene to multi-platinum albums, worldwide tours, and some of the most recognizable songs of the hard rock era.
