Classically trained as a theatre actor and a graduate of New World School of the Arts, Rayner first discovered voice acting as a child before returning to the microphone as an adult, where it became another stage—one where a single voice could conjure entire worlds.
Today, his performances span bestselling fantasy and romantasy series including The Empyrean (Fourth Wing, Iron Flame, and Onyx Storm), The Stormlight Archive, Zodiac Academy, Ruthless Boys of the Zodiac, Gods & Monsters, The Four Horsemen, Blood and Steel, Magical Midlife, and Aurelith Academy.
